Woodland Road public School have a focus of developing student understanding of mathematics that enables students to confidently use numeracy in their daily lives. Daily use of TEN (K-2) and TOWN (Years 3-6) activities give students the opportunity to practice number facts, develop and share a variety of strategies. Daily and weekly challenges and problem solving is a focus in classrooms to develop student capacity in using tools and their knowledge to solve day-to-day mathematical tasks. Woodland Road Public School is focussed on developing numerate students who are able to reason, explain and challenge using mathematical confidence.
