Bump-it-up walls are generally based on the Literacy and Numeracy continuums which show the progression students are expected to follow throughout their schooling years. They encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning, and contribute to their excitement about learning by visually representing their progression. Bump-it-up walls record what a student has already achieved, and highlights to students what they need to do next.
