Welcome to Woodland Road Public School!

Please browse through some of the amazing spaces we have on offer.

Our library is the centre of the school. It is a large space that allows students not only the opportunity to read and borrow books, but provides the freedom of space for large groups to come together to learn and collaborate.

Students have access to devices such as Chromebooks and a dedicated Librarian delivers lessons here on a weekly basis.

Newly purchased furniture makes our library an inviting and practical space for learning.

The library is generally where parent information sessions and professional learning are held.

Our playground is located on our school oval, at the front of the school.

It was generously donated by our P&C and continues to be a popular space for students and staff.

Our Supported Playground provides a safe, sensory outdoor space for students to play and move.

Equipment includes a sandpit, bikes, trampoline and spinning egg chairs.

Our classrooms are large spaces, may of which have interconecting doors allowing for multiple classes to join and work together. Many of our classrooms have small group study rooms used for a range of purposes.

Each of our kindergarten classrooms have a private student bathroom.

Each classroom in the school is equipped with a CleverTouch board and air conditioning and each Block has access to a large number of devices such as Chromebooks and iPads.

Each Block also has a 'wet area' - a large internal space with access to taps, working spaces and school bag storage.

Our Courtyard sits at the heart of the school, serving as a vibrant and welcoming space that connects all classrooms, the library, canteen, hall and office building.

Designed for both relaxation and play, it offers a mix of sunny and shaded areas. With its open layout and natural light, the courtyard fosters a sense of community, encouraging interaction while providing a safe and accessible outdoor environment for all students to enjoy.

Our Aboriginal Mural and Yarning Circle was created by Michael Farden with the assistance of our students in 2020. It provides a culturally signifiant place for students and teachers to come together.
